LARS BO JEPPESEN, Director
Lars Bo Jeppesen is Associate professor at Copenhagen Business School, Department of Innovation and Organizational Economics. His research focuses on distributed source of innovation and how organizations effectively search for innovations outside their own boundaries. His recent research has dealt with how firms establish and maintain fruitful relations with innovative users located in user communities and how the firms adjust their business models to deal effectively with the user as a source of innovation.
ERIC VON HIPPEL, Scientific Director
Eric von Hippel is a Professor and Head of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Group at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He specializes in research related to the nature and economics of distributed and open innovation. He also developed and teaches about practical methods that firms can use to improve their product and service development processes.
YUN MI ANTORINI, Affiliated Expert
Yun Mi Antorini is Assistant Professor at Aarhus School of Business. Her research focuses on consumers who belong to self-organized user communities and the factors that influence these consumers to innovate. Recently, she has carried out in-depth studies on Adult Fans of LEGO' products and how such consumers influence both innovation and branding processes of companies.
CHRISTOPH HIENERTH, Affiliated Expert
Christoph Hienerth is Associate Professor at CBS, Department of Innovation and Organizational Economics. In his research he focuses on Lead User Methodology, User Innovations and the Commercialization of User Innovations, and Industry Development based on Lead User Innovations. He has organized and performed several Lead User Projects with companies like Siemens, Schindler or German T-Com.
MARION PöTZ, Affiliated Expert
Marion Poetz is Assistant Professor at Copenhagen Business School. Her research focuses on how organizations can effectively access and leverage distributed sources of innovation. As part of her studies she investigates the role of lead users in the development of new products and services and studies analogous market effects. She has developed a training model for conducting lead user studies and tested this model in various applications with companies like Fujitsu, Grundfos, Palfinger or Schindler.
